Grace (noun)– The free and unmerited favor of God as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings.
Every time I think about God’s unmerited favor, it makes my heart smile. We often forget all that Jesus has done to give us grace on this earth. His grace saved us when we were dying physically and spiritually. Jesus has restored our spirits and has given us grace to live this life. With bills piling up, challenges of work and home life we forget to be thankful for God’s grace and for keeping us alive and healthy each day.
This Sunday I want to share some Bible verses on God’s amazing grace! Meditate on these scriptures. When you need to be reminded on just how amazing God’s grace is, turn to these verses.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.
But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people.
2 Thessalonians 2:16
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace.
God’s grace is everlasting! We do not have to work for our salvation because He sent His only son to die for us and that allowed us grace that we did not deserve! But because God love us. we no longer have to work to earn grace, it is freely given.
Never feel like you have to work your way to heaven. Volunteering at the local homeless shelter will not get you to heaven no more than setting in a church pew. God’s grace is why we are forgiven 7 times over. His grace is why we are alive! Take advantage of God’s grace by give others grace that they did not deserve. Just as God has given us grace. show that to another human being!
God bless future wives and husbands! Remember God’s grace today and always! Until next time xoxo
