Love Affirmation 14

Hey Future Wives! It’s Love Affirmation time! I love these affirmations because it always uplift me and get me going. I pray these affirmations are uplifting your spirits and get you back right!

We gonna talk about love and forgiveness! I have to say that forgiving others is extremely difficult! All we do is replay everything someone said and done to us! We can feel like we may appear weak by forgiving them or we condone their behavior towards us. I have been going through that myself. Fell out with a friend and we were cool. Even after the fallout I tried to be the bigger person and reach out. This person just don’t want to get over the issue. But I gave a text because that was the only way to reach out. I was not wrong but I apologized for my reaction to the disagreement and said that I forgave them for what they said and I want to move forward in peace. But I felt better that I let that bitterness go.  Let’s get into the bible verse of the day!

Luke 6:35

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend , hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Yes you see what Jesus said! It is hard but He said to be kind to those who are not kind and do good because we represent Him! Jesus died for us and we are not thankful for it! We live our lives and not thank him daily for dying for us and for saving us! But he did it because He love us and it is unconditional and without a payback or we don’t owe Him anything! Amazing  God we serve!

My mom used to tell me and my siblings to help and do good even if the person do not deserve it because at the end we will be blessed if we continue to do what it right even if it feels like they do not deserve it. So It is important to be like Christ and focus on Him and not what someone has done to us because Jesus died for the unthankful. So it is only right to do the same even if we are not in the mood.

I pray this Love Affirmation taught you something about forgiveness as it taught me a lesson as well.
